PESHAWAR: Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi has said youth are an asset to the country who need proper guidance to put the country on the road to development.
“Everyone must play a role to pull Pakistan out of current crises,” he said while speaking as a chief guest at a degree-awarding ceremony at the Frontier Law College, Peshawar.Controller of Examinations of the University of Peshawar, Dr Hizbullah Khan, college Principal Justice (Retd) Yahya Zahid Gillani, founder Akhtar Ali Khan Nahqi, coordinator Lubna Shamshad Khan and students attended the ceremony.
“Our biggest asset is youth. If we provide them with better platforms, Pakistan can progress significantly,” the minister added.Meena Khan said Pakistan could not progress until the supremacy of law and the Constitution was established. “You are entering into your practical life with many responsibilities to shoulder. Your education should not be limited to obtaining a degree but extend to establish the supremacy of law and help provide speedy justice to the people,” he said while addressing the students.At the end of the ceremony, the minister awarded law degrees to the graduates of the college and trophies to the position holders.
