LAHORE : Eminent businessman Iqbal Z Ahmed has initiated Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt Golden Scholarship with a generous donation of Rs1million to the GCU Endowment Fund Trust (EFT).
According to a press release, the scholarship honours Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt, former Dean of Social Sciences and Secretary Executive Committee of the EFT at GC University Lahore, recognising his meritorious services to the institution and the Trust. This permanent scholarship will cover the university fees and hostel expenses of one deserving student each year.
Dr Butt expressed his gratitude, stating, "It is a great honour for me and a generous and considerate gesture from Ahmed."
