CCI meeting scheduled for 22nd postponed

ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) has been postponed.
According to official sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had convened 52nd meeting of CCI on July 22 (Monday).
On Friday, a letter was sent to the members of Council of Common Interests by the Council Secretariat stating the meeting called for Monday has been postponed. The new date of the meeting will be announced later.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Minister Safran Amir Makam are among three federal members of CCI, while four chief ministers are among provincial members. Sources said the CCI meeting has been postponed due to political situation in the country.
