LAHORE: Renowned scholar Dr Saadat Ali Asad has been elected as the central president of Sufi Majlis-e-Amal in a meeting of the organisation chaired by Chairman of Sufi Majlis-e-Amal Pir Mahmood Fariduddin. Expressing his confidence, the head of Pakistan Pir Mahmood Fariduddin expressed hope that Dr Saadat Ali Asad would play an active role in promotion of peace and brotherhood in country.
