Five marriage guests killed as bus overturns

JHANG: Five marriage guests were killed and two others injured when their bus overturned near Kot Shakir on Jhang-Bukhar Road on Wednesday.
A family belonging to Bukhar was going to Gujrat to participate in a marriage ceremony when their bus overturned. Resultantly, five people died on the spot while two others were injured. Rescue 1122 staffers shifted the injured people to the 18-Hazari THQ Hospital.
STUDENT DIES ON ROAD: A 15-year-old student was killed and her brother injured in an accident near Baig Colony on Jhang-Gojra Road on Wednesday.
Rabia (15) and her brother Imran (16) were going to the school when their motorcycle slipped while avoiding an open manhole on the road. As a result, they fell on the road. In the meantime, a tractor-trolley hit them, killing Rabia on the spot and injured her brother. The injured biker was shifted to the DHQ Hospital from where he was referred to the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad due to his critical condition.
