Application filed with ECP against
Qureshi for concealing assets

MULTAN: PML-N senior leader Bilal Butt has filed an application with the district election commissioner against Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf senior leader MNA Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi for concealing assets in his nomination papers.
The district election commissioner has forwarded the application to the Election Commission of Pakistan in Islamabad.
Bilal Butt, in his application, urged the ECP to take action against Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who is the MNA from NA-150, as he had allegedly submitted fake information about property in his nomination papers. The applicant alleged that Shah Mehmood Qureshi had shown less value of his property just to avoid tax. Referring value of property, Bilal Butt said that Shah Mehmood Qureshi submitted the value of his urban property, including Al-Quraish at Daulat Gate under property numbers 444, 445, 445-A and 445A-1, worth Rs 10.5 million, which was 20 times less than the current value.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi had shown his agriculture land at Chak 2, Tarpai, and other Mauzas, valuing few lakhs rupees as compared to the current price in millions of rupees.
