Rs1.13m fined over dengue SOPs violations
Rawalpindi:District Health Authority has accelerated protective measures against dengue SOP’s in entire district with strict vigilance to ensure implementation of said SOPs by the citizens.
Joint efforts by health, education and environment departments have resulted in the declining trend of dengue spread.
Since Jan 2024 till date the health authority has imposed a fine of Rs1.13 million while 363 FIRs have been registered against the dengue SOP’s violations. According to the details, in Rawalpindi district, the number of patients who have recovered from dengue has increased to 28, while one patient affected by dengue is under medical treatment in the hospital.
In collaboration of the allied departments, spraying is also being done by the health department in different areas of the district. Surveillance activities are being intensified in relation to anti-dengue measures.
