NOWSHERA: The police have found clues to the murder case of journalist Malik Hassan Zeb, who was gunned down in broad daylight in Akbarpura Bazaar in Nowshera district the previous day.
District Police Officer (DPO) Azhar Khan said that the police had gathered clues including 10 empty shells from the car and various CCTV footage from the crime scene.He said that the short video clearly showed the assailants riding a motorbike and opening fire at the journalist’s car in the main bazaar of Akbarpura.
The official said that three investigation teams had been constituted to probe the incident from various angles, including that of a terror act.He added that evidence had been sent for forensic test to the laboratory while geo-fencing and mobile of the slain journalist data were also being collected.
The DPO said that the provincial government and Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan had taken notice of the case, which was being investigated along modern lines to apprehend the killers.

As they reached their shop in Akbarpura Bazaar, unidentified masked bike riders opened indiscriminate fire on Malik Hassan Zeb. He sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the way to the hospital.
