I am deeply concerned about the recent X/Twitter ban in Pakistan. This decision not only restricts freedom of speech but also threatens the future of our IT industry. The ban obstructs the youth from contributing to technology’s growth, which could otherwise drive economic progress and global connectivity.
Such arbitrary bans and political interference hinder innovation and discourage investment. Limiting access to platforms like X/Twitter curtails individual freedoms and stifles the exchange of ideas vital for societal advancement. I urge policymakers to reconsider and prioritize Pakistan’s long-term IT development. We must foster an environment that promotes creativity, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement.
