ISLAMABAD: Two women police officers of the Police Service of Pakistan have been selected for the United Nations mission and the Ministry of Interior has requested the Establishment Division to issue NOCs for deployment of these officers in the United Nations mission.

The Ministry of Interior has written a letter to the Secretary Establishment Division, citing an email from the United Nations Military and Police Adviser, stating that police officers Miss Faryal Farid and Miss Rafat Haider Bukhari have been selected by the United Nations Central Africa Mission and NOCs should be issued in this regard. According to sources, Faryal Farid, a Grade 18 officer of Police Service, is currently posted in Balochistan and Police Service Grade 19 Officer Rafat Haider Bukhari is posted in Punjab. The letter also stated that Police Service Grade 19 officer Ghulam Mubashir Macon has chosen to be posted to the Republic of Congo Mission instead of the United Nations Central Africa Mission.
