ISLAMABAD/KARACHI: The prices of petrol and diesel are set to increase by Rs7.67 and Rs3.72 per litre, respectively, from the next fortnight beginning July 16.
The new price of petrol may be Rs273.28 and diesel Rs281.17 per litre.
The kerosene price is likely to go up by Rs2.73 per litre and light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs0.92 per litre. The new price of kerosene is likely to be Rs184.25 and LDO’s Rs166.65 per litre.
The government on July 1 increased the price of petrol by Rs7.45 per litre, diesel Rs9.56, kerosene Rs10.05 and LDO Rs9.88 per litre. This would be the second hike in the prices of POL products in a row.
