Yango celebrates one year of ‘transformative operations’
KARACHI: The international ride-hailing service, Yango, part of the global tech company Yango Group, marked its first year of operation in Pakistan, now covering five major cities since 2023, according to a press release on Friday.
This milestone underscores Yango’s commitment to revolutionizing the mobility industry in Pakistan and delivering unparalleled services to users and partner drivers.In just one year, Yango has made substantial strides in the Pakistani market, displaying the impact of advanced technology, affordable pricing, and stringent safety measures, stated the press release.
The service has prioritized safety with features like an SOS button, share route option, and regular driver verification. These enhancements ensure user security and comfort, with more improvements planned. Additionally, Yango’s 24/7 support team assists users and partner drivers with inquiries and timely solutions.
Yango’s business model supports local businesses and fosters economic growth, creating numerous jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities. Partnering with over 50 transportation companies, Yango has enabled drivers to provide exceptional services and earn a stable income.
In its first year, Yango’s customer support service efficiently returned over 1,400 lost items, with mobile phones being the most common and a wedding album being the most unique.
