ETPB income rises by Rs1.3bn
LAHORE:The income of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) reached Rs4.725 billion with a substantial increase of Rs1.305 billion in financial year 2023-24.
According to a press release, 6135-acre land worth about Rs39 billion was retrieved from the occupying groups. According to the orders of the Federal Government, Chairman Board Syed AttaurRehman, Chairman One Man Commission (OMC) Dr. ShoaibSaddal and former Chairman Arshad Farid, trust properties retrieved and records were digitized and updated, which increased the income of the board.
2023-24 was a year of success with the best strategy of Secretary Board Farid Iqbal. In the year preceding 2023-24, the ETPB income has been Rs3.42 billion and Rs2.845 million respectively. Practical steps were taken to renovate religious places of minorities and better facilities were provided to those coming to Pakistan.
