ISLAMABAD: Appointments and transfers have been made in the federal bureaucracy.
The prime minister has approved the appointment of Police Service Grade 21 officer Ashraf Zubair Siddiqui as Border Management Immigration Adviser, Foreign Commonwealth Development Office, Government of Great Britain.
Approval of the appointment of Ashraf Zubair Siddiqui is for 14 months from the date of joining on deputation. On completion of the deputation period, he will report to the Establishment Division. Police Service Grade 20 officer Abdul Hameed Sanjrani has been transferred from Sindh to the Balochistan government while Secretariat Group officers Deputy Secretary Muhammad Kashif was transferred from the Ministry of Science and Technology to Establishment Division, Deputy Secretary Saleem Ahmed Khan from Ministry of Water Resources to National Heritage Division and Deputy Secretary Rehman Shah from the National Health Division to the Ministry of Water Resources.
OSD Asghar Ali has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology, and one-year extension has been approved in the deputation of Arif Tahsin of Secretariat Group, Grade 19 officer, posted in the Gilgit-Baltistan government. The Establishment Division has issued notifications.
