Free-medical camp held in Mardan
MARDAN: A free-medical camp was organised to find the silent cases of Tuberculosis (TB) in Baghdada area here on Monday.
The District Tuberculosis (TB) Control Programme in collaboration with the Association for Community Development (ACD) ?had organised the camp held in Alam Colony in Baghdada. The prime objective of holding of the camp was to examine the people for Tuberculosis test.
Manager of the District TB Control Programme Dr Fazle Hadi and pulmonologist Dr Sartaj Malik were among the doctors who examined the patients at the camp. The patients were examined and provided free-medicines included male, female and children.
Bacteria of TB disease were found among four patients during the examinations. Dr Fazle Hadi said the medical camp was aimed at finding the silent cases of TB disease in the area.
