A case has been registered at the Tipu Sultan police station against the suspect arrested for the murder of a software company’s CEO with a sharp weapon on Sharea Faisal.

During a dispute on the fourth floor of the Kawish Crown Plaza, the software company’s employee Shoaib Khan had killed the company’s CEO Naveed Khan with a sharp weapon on Monday night.

FIR No. 24/258 was filed under Section 302 by the victim’s brother Imtiaz Khan against the arrested suspect. According to the complainant, none of the employees of the company had received their salary, including the suspect.

The suspect entered the office in the evening and attacked the victim with a sharp weapon, severely injuring him. The victim tried to escape and reached the building’s basement, where he collapsed. He was taken to the hospital but did not survive.

The suspect stayed in the office after the incident, and was later arrested by the police. The suspect is a software engineer. The victim was a resident of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, and a father of three. Police said the suspect was arrested at the crime scene with the murder weapon.

The suspect had been working as a software developer at the company for some eight months, and had not been paid for the past three months. On Monday, following an argument over the unpaid salaries, the suspect attacked the company’s CEO with a sharp weapon. The suspect said his father was ill, and he needed money. He said he was suffering from psychological issues, and was seeing a psychiatrist.
