Working women’s rights to be protected: DCO

GUJRANWALA: DCO Amir Jaan said the government would protect rights of working women at all costs.
Presiding over a meeting at his office to review implementation on Women Protection Ordinance 2010, he said a number of programmes aimed at providing peaceful environment to women at their workplaces have been initiated. He said there was a dire need to create awareness among the people to give respect to woman workers and provide better environment.
The DCO said representatives of all government, semi-government and private departments, hospitals, colleges, universities and factories would take part in the awareness drive.
