Alamgir Institute of Engineering & Technology (AIET) has awarded certificates to more than 500 students, including females, who successfully completed training in IT, fashion design and vocational courses.
Laptops, sewing machines, tool kits and other gift items worth Rs1.5 million were distributed among students who secured higher ranks in cohorts 22 and 23 at a ceremony held recently at the institute in Mehran Town, Korangi. The institute has provided training to nearly 5,000 students with over 50 per cent of them females. The ceremony was attended by Shaikh Nisar Ahmed Chaudhary, Chairman Alamgir Welfare Trust International, and others.
