PESHAWAR: Entry test for BS engineering and non-engineering programmes was held on Sunday at six centres across Pakistan.

A press release said that the test was conducted at centres in Islamabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mardan, Kohat, and Swat amid strict security arrangements.Considering the severe heat, the test was conducted in air-conditioned halls. The ETEA said that results were uploaded on the website within four hours of the test’s conclusion, along with answer keys and scorecards.

It said candidates could also check their results and verify their scores through self-scoring. According to initial results, Mahd Nazeer secured the top position in the province with 90 marks. Other top performers included Anas Khan, Aina Khan, Saad Muhammad Khan, Feroz Hussain Shah, Jamsher Khan, Samiullah, Obaid Shokat Abbasi, Hasnain Nawaz, Iman Tahir Swati, Moomina Khan, and Abbas Alamgir.

Online registration for the second test will begin on ETEA’s website soon, and candidates who appeared in the first test are also eligible to participate in the second test. The better scores from both tests will be considered for admission to universities and colleges.

The results will be valid for admission to 2,000 seats in public sector engineering universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and various universities and colleges across Pakistan.
