Pension released to widows on ombudsman orders
PESHAWAR: Pension has been released to two widows in Dera Ismail Khan on the order of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ombudsman.A communication said one of the widows had lodged a complaint with the Provincial Ombudsman Secretariat for addressing the issue.
The provincial Ombudsman deputed an investigation officer to probe the matter. The case was processed and all procedures were completed. Provincial Ombudsman Syed Jamal Ud Din Shah conducted a hearing into the case. He ordered the District Account officer in Dera Ismail Khan to release the pending pension of two Widows as per the law.
The account officer in Dera Ismail Khan implemented the order and issued the letter of pension release to both widows. The pension was released and equally distributed to both widows of Shah Behram, an official of the Agriculture Engineering Department.
In another case, Danish Aziz had submitted a complaint against the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for degree verification.After the investigation, orders were communicated to the department concerned. The HEC agreed to the judgment passed by the provincial ombudsman and the complaint was addressed accordingly.
