Bajaur blast

This letter refers to the news report ‘Ex-Senator among five killed in Bajaur IED blast’ (July 4, 2024). If law-enforcement agencies and even civilians are being targeted in certain areas of the country with devices which are typically used in a war or battle, one must ask how much lower we will go when it comes to security?
The Azm-e-Istehkam operation should be launched nationwide with complete seriousness in order to stamp out the curse of relentless violence, extremism, and terrorism from our society once and for all.
