MANSEHRA: Asking the institutions to work under the ambit of the Constitution, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Friday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was being punished for his principled stance on various issues and independent foreign policy.
“I want to make it clear to those who abrogate the country’s Constitution that they will face the severest punishment under the law,” he told a rally at the Ghazikot Ground here. The rally was organized to launch the “Free Imran Khan Movement”.

They also warned the government of march on the federal capital if Imran Khan was not set free.
The chief minister said that he and other leaders of his party were waiting for Imran Khan’s call to secure his release with the support of the people.
He said, “We have been waiting for Khan’s call”, adding they should see the sensitivity of the situation and free the PTI founder it is too late.
He said that the establishment was supposed to safeguard and protect the county’s borders and his party workers and leadership would fight along with them in case of any aggression by the enemies.
“You should stop protecting thieves and those who had stolen our mandate,” the chief minister went on to add.
The chief minister warned former chief minister Pervez Khattak of dire consequences and expulsion from the province if he testified falsely in the court of law against their party’s founding chairman.
“Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has crossed all limits in political victimization of our party’s workers and leaders, and our party’s men from KP will initiate an agitation to rescue their leaders in Punjab if she doesn’t mend her ways,” he said.
