10 die in road accidents
1,474 injured in 1,337 traffic accidents in Punjab during last 24 hours

LAHORE: Around 10 people died, whereas 1,474 were injured in 1,337 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of these, 651 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals.
Body recovered: Body of an unidentified man was recovered from River Ravi near Saggian Bridge on Friday when a passerby spotted the body floating in the river and alerted police.
A police and Rescue team reached the spot on information, fished out the body and shifted it to morgue.
Police also collected forensic evidences from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses. Police said that the cause of death would be ascertained after autopsy and further investigations.
