KARACHI: Farrukh H Khan has resigned from the position of chief executive officer of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX), according to a notice on Friday.
Khan expressed that it was a great honour to serve the PSX as CEO and acknowledged the support of all market participants, including domestic shareholders, the Pakistan Stock Brokers Association, and the media.
He thanked the PSX’s Board and chairperson and the SECP for their guidance throughout his tenure and the Chinese consortium for its consistent support and guidance.An emergent meeting of the PSX’s Board was convened on Friday to consider Khan’s resignation.
