Eight uplift schemes worth Rs47bn approved
LAHORE: The second meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) Fiscal Year 2024-25 was held under the chairmanship of Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan and approved eight development schemes of health and road sectors at an estimated cost of Rs47 billion.
The approved schemes included provision of equipment furniture’s and fixtures of BHUs and RHCS at the cost of Rs10 billion, programme for revamping of 552 Basic Health Units (BHUs) of North and Central Punjab at the cost of Rs10 billion, revamping of 581 BHUs of South Punjab (Phase-I) at the cost of Rs10 billion, revamping of 220 Rural Health Centres (RHCs) (Phase-I) at the cost of Rs10 billion, rehabilitation of Gujranwala Alipur Qadirabad Road (Alipur Chowk To Kalaske), District Gujranwala at the cost of Rs2.325 billion, rehabilitation / improvement Wazirabad-Daska Road, (Remaining Portion).
