PESHAWAR: Capital Metropolitan Government launched an anti-encroachment drive in Qissa Khwani and other bazaars ahead of the Muharram.

The officials seized goods placed on footpaths outside the shops which was causing problems for the pedestrians. The anti-encroachment team led by Deputy Director Regulation Zillhaja Ilyas also arrested 10 shopkeepers for blocking footpaths in the bazaars.
