UHS board considers thesis reports, synopses

LAHORE:The 203rd meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held here on Thursday with Vice Chancellor Prof Ahsan Waheed Rathore in the chair.

The board considered 19 reports on theses submitted by the students, including Dr Sadia Ishaq MPhil (Biochemistry), Saba Saeed MPhil (MLS-Molecular Pathology & Cytogenetics), Dr Zahra Moeen MPhil (Oral Pathology), Lubna Parveen MS (Nursing), Dr Yasir Bashir MS (Anaesthesia), Dr Farah Niaz MS (Anaesthesia), Dr Muhammad Qasim MS (Cardiac surgery), Dr Syed Bahar Ali Bukhari MS (Cardiac Surgery), Dr Nasir Mukhtar MS (General Surgery), Dr Kiran Abdul Rasheed MS (General Surgery), Dr Maryam Khalid MS (Obst & Gynae), Dr Minhal Shikrani MS (Obst & Gynae), Dr Saleha Fayyaz MS (Obst & Gynae), Dr Rahat Jamil MS (Obst & Gynae), Dr Mawra Sarwar MD(Paediatrics), Dr Shazia Rafiq MD (Paediatrics), Dr Aisha Fareed MS (Anaesthesia), Dr Warda Chaudhry MD (Paediatrics) and Liaqat Ali PhD (Forensic Sciences). The synopses of 54 students were also considered for registration to various postgraduate courses in the meeting.
