LAHORE: Pakistan’s young wrestler Hasan Ali Bhola secured a gold medal in the wrestling event of the Children’s Asian Games currently underway in Yakutsk, Russia.
Bhola, the sole Pakistani wrestler participating in the Games, displayed exceptional talent throughout the competition. He defeated wrestlers from Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Mongolia in convincing fashion to reach the final. In the final bout, he emerged victorious against two Kyrgyz wrestlers, winning by a score of 8-2.
The victory sparked jubilation within the Pakistan Wrestling Federation. President Abdul Mubeen and Senior Vice President Arshad Sattar, who is also the President of the Punjab Wrestling Association, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Bhola and his coach, Ghulam Fareed.
