Adapting farming
It is a known fact that agriculture is facing several challenges and those challenges and major obstacles limit the productivity of farming in the country. Those challenges can be categorized as climate change, lack of education and no effective application of technology, high cost of farm inputs and low pricing of agricultural produce and no proper infrastructure. The agriculture sector is highly vulnerable to climate change because it relies heavily on climatic factors.
Traditional farmers in various parts of the country are doing nothing to respond to climate change. The agri-scientists and climate experts must come forward to help our farmers. The print, electronic and social media together with educational institutions and NGOs should also do more to save our agro-economy.
