The once-sacred institutions of learning have become a hotbed of exploitation and despair where female students are sitting ducks for predatory educators who abuse their power, leaving deep scars that may never fully heal. The numbers are staggering, the stories tear-jerking. Harassment, blackmail, and even suicide have become a recurring nightmare in our schools. The question on everyone's lips is: why is this toxic culture allowed to persist? The answer lies in the glaring lack of oversight and accountability, which has created a culture of impunity where perpetrators can roam scot-free.
It is time for our governments to take the bull by the horns and enact laws that safeguard our children's future. We demand justice be served, and served quickly, for those who have suffered at the hands of those who were supposed to be their guardians. The time for change is ripe. Let's join forces to create a safe haven where knowledge can flourish, free from fear and intimidation. Our children deserve nothing but the best.
