Man seeks protection against brothers
PESHAWAR: A man belonging to Kohat district on Wednesday asked the police authorities to give protection to his family against his brother, who was a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
Speaking at a press conference here, one Janab Khan Afridi said that officials of the Billitang Police Station had occupied his filling station illegally.He said his brothers Daud Shah Afridi and Hussain Shah had a strained relationship with him. He said that his brothers wanted to harm his children, adding that he went to Billitang Police Station to register an FIR against his brothers but the police refused to oblige him. He said the police had occupied his petrol station at the behest of his brothers. He said that when he asked the police to get his property vacated they tortured him and his children, claiming that police also erased the CCTV footage of the incident.
