Illegal structures razed, sealed

LAHORE:Continuing its campaign against illegal construction and commercialisation fee defaulters, LDA demolished and sealed several properties here Tuesday.

The operation was supervised by Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali and Director Town Planning Zone-IV Ali Nusrat. The LDA teams demolished a pharmacy on Defense Road, Nursery Shed at Pine Avenue and illegal construction on Plot No 71 Block R-1 in Johar Town.

Plot No 401, 402 Block F and BO. Plot No 25 Block B in Revenue Society, Plot No 517 Block E in Johar Town, Plot No 106 Block F, Plot No 180 Block E-1, Plot No 383, 384, 386, in Johar Town. 279, 44 Block N Plot No 16F2 and Plot No 601, 610 Block G Johar Town were sealed for non-payment of commercial fees. Several notices were given to these properties before the operation. Enforcement wing and heavy police force also participated in the operation.
