The federal budget has brought a sharp increase in taxes on property, particularly on old homes in Islamabad. If the same is occupied by an elderly private citizen who is now non-employable or is a government pensioner or the child of a former government servant who was allotted this house in recognition of long service and never bought or sold the house?
How would they gather the money needed to pay for the federal government to equip government cars, offices and perks?
