DIK Police inform Seraiki poet about terrorists’ threat

LAHORE: Dera ismail khan police have informed a prominent Seraiki poet that terrorists have planned to target him.
The sub-divisional police officer of Dera Ismail Khan, Sadar, Circle has officially sent an advisory to the Seraiki poet about the threat, directing him to restrict his movements, avoid unnecessary travel, and refrain from attending public gatherings.
The advisory has also been sent to the district police officer.
Speaking to The News, a police officer said, “We will provide security to the poet and are working to locate the terrorists’ hiding places.”
