Two women attempt suicide

DASKA: Two married women attempted suicide in circle police Daska on Monday.

Reportedly, the women of Daska and village Seyokey used to quarrel with their family members and on the day of the incident they took poisonous pills, separately. They were rushed to hospital when their conditioned deteriorated. Later, they were referred to Gujranwala in a critical condition.

TWO INJURED IN ACCIDENT: Two youths were injured in a road accident in the city area on Monday.

Fareed Hussain and his friend were going to their village, when they reached near BRB canal, a speeding jeep of an SDO irrigation hit them, leaving them injured.

VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: A man was deprived of cash and valuables on Monday.

Two robbers intercepted Rana Jameel and snatched a cell phone, cash and his motorcycle.

NARCOTICS RECOVERED: Circle police Monday arrested four accused and recovered narcotics and illegal arms from their possession.

Police arrested accused Imran, Kashif, Nadeem, Fasil and recovered 300 gram charas, 15 litre liquor and a pistol.
