Official inspects preparedness for monsoon
NOWSHERA: Deputy Commissioner Bashir Ahmed conducted a detailed visit to Rescue Station 77 in Nowshera Cantonment to review preparations and measures taken by Rescue 1122 in anticipation of the monsoon season and potential flood risks.
Assistant Commissioner Tanveer Ahmed, and Additional Assistant Commissioner Abdul Qayyum Khattak accompanied him during the inspection.District Emergency Officer Malik Ashfaq Hussain briefed the deputy commissioner on Rescue 1122’s preparations amidst possible flood hazards, highlighting the readiness of rescue personnel to handle daily emergencies as well as unforeseen situations promptly and effectively.
Rescue teams equipped with OBM boats, engines, boats, life jackets, lifelines, and other necessary equipment for flood situations were also on standby on the occasion.
