Wasa camps installed to deal with monsoon

LAHORE:Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique was called on by Wasa officials in reference to PP 153 in the Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care. On this occasion, XEN Tajpura Zohaib, XEN Fatehgarh Kashif Rasool, Rifat Hussain and Syed Ikhlas and the relevant officers were also present.

Khawaja Salman Rafique reviewed the development projects and the performance of Wasa in detail with reference to PP 153 and the relevant officers gave a briefing to the provincial minister in this regard. The minister said that Wasa camps had been installed in the respective areas to deal with monsoon. Adequate provision of water bowers has been made in Constituency PP 153. Constituency PP 153 will be visited soon to review Wasa arrangements.

The minister said that Wasa authorities had been instructed to make proper arrangements for the drainage of accumulated water. Wasa authorities have been instructed to increase the HR in PP-153 constituency.
