The bodies of a missing woman and her two children -- a boy and a girl -- were found in Mauripur’s Sher Muhammad Village Goth on Saturday.
The bodies were discovered near Bengali Para. Upon receiving the information, police and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and took the bodies to the Civil Hospital Karachi.
The deceased were identified as 25-year-old Rukhsana, wife of Irfan, her six-year-old daughter Fatima and two-year-old son Adna.
SHO Tufail stated that all three had been missing for two days, and the family had filed a report at the police station two days earlier. The family and police were searching for them, and the bodies were found in a drain near their home. The initial cause of death has not been determined. Investigations are underway to determine if the deaths were accidental or homicides. Further legal action will be taken after the postmortem examination.
