Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Friday inaugurated recreational facilities at the Safari Park, including an amusement park and a facility for children.
During the inauguration ceremony, he said that the promises made to the people of Karachi were being fulfilled. He said the assets of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) were being properly utilised ending the negative perception about Karachi.
He said that people used to complain about lack of power, but work could still be done in the city. “We have a plan to restore other neglected parks and regard the city's resources as a public trust,” he said. “Now, the park's vibrancy has been restored, and activities like junior adventure challenges and rock climbing have begun."
