Islamabad: Curious minds tend to search beyond boundaries and Urwa-til-Wusqa, an 11-year old student of 6th class in a private school of Islamabad is one such young girl who at this tender age dared to delve in the depths of nature’s mysteries in search of origin of the universe!
And she came up with a well-researched book that she penned down to discuss as to how the Universe came into being and how it evolved over unfathomable times as well as where it is headed for.
During the processing she read the explanations presented in Quran, went through the works of philosophers and scientists who were pursuing the same quest, to find the origin of the universe, over the centuries.
Eventually went through what the modern science has to say to substantiate their finding regarding creation and vastness of the universe before she lifted her pen to compile this well researched book.
She has presented almost all the popular theories by the ancient philosophers like Aristotal, Ptolemy, Nicholas Copernicus, Galilleo Galilei and Kepler and scientists like Newton, Edwin Hubble, Alexander Friedman and their researches in quite a detail while compiling the book, titled ‘Tale of the Universe’.
The National Book Foundation (NBF) has already published this book and has recommended this to be included in the course for the students of secondary schools. Born in Islamabad, Urwa-til-Wusqa’s parents belong to Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Her father, Murtaza Suleman is an Electrical Engineer and mother is a lecturer of English literature.
