Beyond the dollar

Pakistan must get behind the BRICs-led move towards de-dollarization or less dependence on the US dollar. Our dependency on the dollar combined with the threat of sanctions is getting in the way of important projects with neighbouring countries and regional partners. With de-dollarization, we no longer need to fear American sanctions to the same degree and can better utilize our geostrategic importance.
