AIOU launches TV production training programme
Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and state run TV on Monday launched a joint TV production training programme to enhance academic standard of the multi-media-based open-distance educational courses.
Under the plan, the PTV Training Academic will impart professional training to the producers and designers of AIOU, which are engaged in development of the educational courses. In this connection, a three-week training session was formally started here at the university’s main campus.
Inaugurating the training process, AIOU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui announced that the AIOU will soon undertake a massive human resource professional development programme for updating its academic and non-academic staff about the latest developments and techniques in their respective fields.
Earlier, Director IET Mir Mukhtar Ahmed Talpur highlighted the main features of the training program, hoping it will prove a milestone in the professional training of their staff on modern lines.
