JUIF chief criticises govt for inflation
TAKHTBHAI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUIF) central leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that external forces have historically attempted to defame Islam by spreading propaganda against it.
He claimed that global powers mock Islamic culture, Islam-friendly political parties, and religious scholars, labelling those who advocate for Islamic supremacy as terrorists and reactionaries.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman made these remarks during a brief visit to Takhtebai on Friday, where he offered condolences to Maulana Ataullah Haqqani and his family on the death of the esteemed religious scholar and Sheikh-ul-Quran, Maulana Abdul Rahman, also known as Thanay Baba Ji. He praised Thanay Baba Ji’s religious contributions.
Maulana criticised the incumbent government, calling it a complete failure. He highlighted the deteriorating law and order situation, stating that no one’s life or property is safe, and even the police and other institutions feel insecure. He condemned the inflation and unemployment that have made life difficult for the middle class and criticised what he called the incompetent and corrupt rulers “for celebrating loans from the World Bank and IMF”.
