Qadri to lead rallies on June 17
Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri will lead rallies and preside over ceremonies to mark the anniversary of Model Town incident on June 17.
This was stated by the Lahore Ameer of Minhajul Quran, Hafiz Ghulam Fareed while addressing the Executive Council of Minhajul Quran meeting held on Monday at the Pakistan Awami Tehreek Model Town Secretariat. Instructing the PAT workers he told them to prepare for the June 17 anniversary functions. He asked the workers to gear up to give a memorable reception to the PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri on his arrival in Lahore from Canada.
Hafiz Ghulam Fareed asked the residents of Lahore to come out and attend the functions on the anniversary of the Model Town tragedy. He said the blood of the martyrs of Model Town was a debt on the people of the country. He said the innocent blood of the Model Town martyrs would be the reason for the decline and destruction of the present rulers.
He said that Dr Tahirul Qadri would lead the onward journey to get justice for the heirs of the Model Town martyrs and assured them that PAT would not rest until justice was provided to them. He said if we do not get justice from the court and parliament then would take to the streets to get justice.
