PESHAWAR: No casualty was reported in a rocket attack on a police post of Regi Model Town late Thursday night.
A police official said unidentified terrorists fired a rocket that hit the Post Number 3 of the Regi Model Town Police Station on Nasir Bagh Road.
The rocket caused slight damage to the wall and smashed windowpanes but no casualty was reported.
The superintendent of police Warsak Jawad Ishaq said a major search operation was underway in the vicinity following the attack.
Police posts and vehicles in the limits of the RMT Police station have come under attack a number of times in the last few months. Some of the cops also lost lives in these attacks while few of the attacks were repulsed.
Due to breakdown, power was cut off in Mall Road, Jhikagali, Bhurban, Expressway and other areas
