Boy strangulated to death after molestation

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unidentified accused strangulated a boy after sexually assaulting him and then dumped his body beneath Picket Bridge on Darazinda-Zhob road, police said on Thursday.

Registering the first information report under 376/302/53CPA at the Mufti Mahmood Hospital, 376/302/53CPA Hanif Khan Sherani said that his 12-year old nephew Shadi Khan had gone missing on June 26.

He said that they searched him everywhere but did not find any clue to his whereabouts.Later, his body was found beneath the Picket Bridge on Darazinda-Zhob road.The complainant said that the unidentified accused had molested him before strangling him to death.

The second incident occurred at Miryali area in the jurisdiction of Cantt Police Station where a 12-year old boy Usman Ghani committed suicide by hanging himself with ceiling fan over some domestic issue.Meanwhile, five persons sustained injuries when a truck loaded with coal rammed into a hotel and a medicine store.

Some of the injured were identified as Attiqur Rahman Sherani, 44, his sons Aslamyar Sherani, 9, Muhammadyar Sherani, 5, and others.The injured were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
