ISLAMABAD: Several appointments and transfers have been made in the federal bureaucracy.
Federal Secretary Anti-Narcotics Division and Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 22 officer Captain (Rtd) Munir Azam has been transferred and made an OSD in the Establishment Division. Interior Secretary Captain (retd) Muhammad Khurram Agha has been given additional charge of Secretary Anti-Narcotics Division for three months.
The services of Grade 18 Police Service officer Muhammad Waqar Azim, who is awaiting appointment, have been handed over to the Punjab government. Deputy Secretary Establishment Division and Grade 18 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, Abdul Qadir, has been transferred and his services have been handed over to the Punjab government. Sajjad Ahmad, a grade 20 officer of the Secretariat Group, awaiting appointment, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Railways. The transfer of Section Officer Maria Gill from Ministry of Tribal Affairs to the Cabinet Division has been cancelled. The Establishment Division has issued notifications for the appointments and transfers. Chief, Federal Board of Revenue Islamabad, Nisar Ahmed, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Industries and Production Division, while Joint Secretary, Industries and Production Division, Muhammad Fayaz, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division. The Interior Ministry has given the additional charge of Member State Management to CDA Member Administration Talat Gondal.
