CJP should take notice of energy crisis in Karachi: Shahzad Qureshi
Senior PTI leader and former MPA Shahzad Qureshi has reacted to what he called “the worst load-shedding” in Karachi and said that there is no gas, water or electricity in the city at the moment, but the bills are coming like citizens have treasures.
The Sindh government has deprived the people of basic facilities, he said, adding that all the burden of the worst governance is being put on the people, and the chief minister is helpless in front of the federation.
The PTI leader said the rulers of Sindh government had said that if they win, they will give 300 units of electricity for free, but where those false statements have gone. The PDM government formed by fake votes should stop its bargaining on the people, he said.
The ex-MPA said debt-ridden Sindh is not paying dues for the government's electricity. The chief justice of Pakistan is requested to take immediate notice of the ongoing energy crisis across the country and especially in Karachi, he said.
