Shopkeeper tortured by cop for demanding money

GUJRANWALA: An ASI allegedly tortured a shopkeeper over a minor issue here on Sunday.
ASI Zafar of Satellite Town police station riding on an official vehicle came to a burger shop and purchased 15 burgers. When shopkeeper Naveed asked the ASI to pay the bill, he allegedly tortured him and forced him to shut his shop. The accused policeman also pushed a security guard when he tried to intervene. After the incident, shopkeepers staged a demonstration against the accused policeman and demanded action against him.
DACOITY: An incident of dacoity was reported in Ferozewala police limits.
Four dacoits came to a petrol pump near Ferozewala Bridge and made off with Rs 700,000 CCTT cameras and weapons. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
