Mahnoor wins U13 gold at Penang Malaysian Junior Open

LAHORE: Pakistan’s young squash sensation Mahnoor Ali won the gold medal in under-13 category of the PBA 20th Penang Malaysian junior Open 2024.

The tournament was generously supported by The Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood (BARD), which has been a steadfast pillar behind her achievements and growth. The PBA 20th Penang Malaysia Junior Open, an ASF Platinum tournament in the Asian Junior Super Series, is recognised as one of the toughest competitions in Asia. This is the second time she has secured gold in the Penang Junior Open 2024 Under-13 category.

She also received the gold medal in the Australian Junior Open 2024, secured a bronze medal in the under-13 category at the 7th Borneo Junior Open 2023 and clinched the under-11 title at the Penang (Malaysian) Open Squash Championship in 2022.

The young athlete has consistently brought pride to both the foundation and the nation, accumulating a total of 15 medals and now holding 5 international titles. The tournament gathered some of the world’s top young squash players.
